Hello I am looking for an accredited medical aesthetic program in Raleigh, North Carolina. I am currently enrolled in the aesthetic program at Miller Motte College. I am very interested in going the medical route when I complete my program; but I am having a very difficult time finding any information about becoming a medical esthetician in the state of North Carolina. Any information would greatly be appreciated.
Thank you,
Angie

Hello: I am looking for an accredited medical aesthetic program in Florida, particularly near Sarasota, FL. I have been trying to break into this field for quite awhile. I did a lot of research and found several schools in Florida, however I want to narrow my search with an accredited/respected program.

I would appreciate your help.

Thanks.

I am currently a 28year old senior house officer with vast experience in general medical posts including four months dermatology. I also seniorclinical project in the management decisions of psoriasis and how have looked into ther psychological impact of chronic skin conditions.

I am a health enthusiast am keen to move into the cosmetic industry / medispa world. Also being a part time model i am acutely aware of how passionate people are about beauty, I feel i have the ability to use my own personal experiences along with my medical knowledge to help influence others. I am also keen on developing new skills in beauty therapy and improve overall look and wellness of individuals. I am a friendly, caring person with an appetite for success.

Please can you contact me with regard to advice on further training, within the UK/America or Italy

Many Thanks

What an interesting article! I am looking for an accredited school in Ontario for Medical Aesthetics, can you advise me please.
I live in London Ontario so the closer to home the better. I would consider moving west though.

Thank you

I found Suzanne S. Warfield's article quite interesting, since I have been trying to get into this area of medical profession after my primary care doctor recommended tha I look into the Medical Esthetics field. I am now more encouraged than ever to attain my degree, certificaton and license in this field. Could you provide any direction and assistance for me to get started. I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Thanks ever so much in advance.

Hello,

It is great to see estheticians with such drive and determination. In a industry that is revolving all the time, we need to be advancing our methods and techniques.
I am hoping someone with your great expertise would give me some guidence. I am a CIDESCO an CIBTAC qualified beauty therapist.
I trained at the London School of Beauty and Make up, I worked as a make up artist for MAC and Bobbi Brown for a couple yeras but I fell back into my love for skincare and worked at prominent spas is London and Paris.

Now living in the USA where apparently CIDESCO is a rare occurance and I feel the standard of training here is much lower than Europe.

I feel I have a lot to offer educational wise and from a business point.
I have found it difficult to have my qualifications converted to the 'USA' esthetic standard. Can you advise on how one would convert their International qualifications?

Regards

I am one of the first 100 Estheticians to be NCEA certified, and it was the best career move I could have made. Not only does it put me in a unique category amongst my peers, my clients immediately feel at ease that I am serious about what I do and have the expertise to address thier skin issues. I work in a medical aesthetic setting which is an exciting and rewarding field. My success stems from my associations such as the NCEA, SDSS, and the ASCP which offer continual advance education formats. If you want to be a "mover and shaker" in this industry, you need to jump on the band wagon! Kudos to Susanne Warfield...a true "Mover and Shaker!"
