#10 – Don’t let your sunscreen go into hibernation.
It might be below freezing outside, but that doesn’t mean that the sun’s harmful UV rays aren’t hard at work on your skin. Don’t pack up that sunscreen for next summer. Keep it handy this winter. Before going outside apply some moisturizing, broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher to all exposed areas of your body. That should help keep the sun at bay and your skin healthy.

Your lips are like sitting ducks on your face. The cold unleashes its worst upon your lips and because they contain no oil glands, they lose moisture and begin to chap and crack. Also, during the winter your hands take an incredibly harsh beating from the climate. It’s like they’re in a tussle with a prime Muhammad Ali, and that’s not good for anyone.
