looks damaging the way you have to rub it.. Your hair has like “scales”. and its not good when your rubbing the scales the opposite way. kind of made me cringe. be gentle and only rub downward if that works…

Does it have to be the drawing pastel chalks? Or can you use like, Crayola sidewalk chalk?

Chalkin does cause staining when used on blode hairs…the way out is this that you do not wet ur hairs before chalking…althu dis does has its disadvantages but yet…anything is better than staining your hairs dear.

After the color is set with the curling iron, will it come off on clothes or sheets? Want to do this on my daughter’s hair for school, but want to do it the night before to save time in the morning and don’t want to have to worry about it getting on her sheets or clothes.

No! becuse the chalk will not dry if you curl the hair before coloring….
