West Coast chain of beauty schools, Marinello Schools of Beauty, has announced they will be awarding the 2nd Annual High School Beauty Scholarship, a combined $30,000 in prizes. These scholarships will be awarded to high school students who plan to pursue a career in beauty. There will be five cosmetology school scholarships, with first prize at $10,000, and the other four at $5,000 each.

Eligibility – Current high school seniors
How to apply – Candidates must complete an essay on how they plan to make a difference as a professional in the Beauty Industry.
Essay Deadline – Postmarked by May 28,2010.
Other scholarship requirements: Essay finalists will compete in a skills competition.
