Mississippi State Board of Cosmetology License InformationIn order to obtain a license in cosmetology, nail technology or
esthetics in the state of Mississippi, students must complete the

Requirements
COSMETOLOGIST: 1550 hours
ESTHETICS: 600 hours
NAIL TECHNICIAN: 350 hours
Reciprocity
Permitted
with Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, Rhode
Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont and West Virginia.
