Reciprocity
The Tennessee Cosmetology Board requires applicants with out-of-state licenses to meet the minimum required classroom training hours. If you are licensed but do not meet the required classroom hours and cannot provide a 5-year work history, you will need to submit your application for reciprocity to the board office.
