face it, you were meant for Patsy and Rob's
Academy of Beauty, a Pivot Member School,
Cottleville Campus. We are located in St.
Charles County, Missouri.
We are dedicated to providing our students
with a solid education in Cosmetology, Manicuring,
and Instructor Training, as well as providing
our clients with outstanding hair and nail
care. All work is performed by our students
under the supervision of licensed instructors.
We are a proud Pivot Point Member School.
At Patsy and Rob's Academy of Beauty we
offer Financial Assistance available to
those who qualify.
Academy Goals
It is our goal at Academy of Beauty by Patsy
and Rob to remain innovative by upgrading
our programs, guaranteeing our students
a solid education, and preparing them as
they enter a new and rewarding career. We
believe students must have marketable skills,
so we incorporate customer communications,
professional skills, and client relations
into our curriculum. In addition, we instruct
our students in practical and technical
skills in preparation of their State of
Missouri Board Exam. Our instructors are
equipped with up-to-date facilities and
equipment to prepare our students for employment
in today’s modern salons, schools, or industry
related positions. The addition of the Pivot
Point Member Program in 2003, reflects our
commitment to our mission.
 Courses
Offered
Basic Cosmetology
The Basic Cosmetology course covers all
the phases of cosmetology, to prepare the
student for a career as a Cosmetologist
or related field. The approach to training
used by the Academy is based on sound educational
methods and teaching theoretical knowledge
of cosmetology and truly professional personality.
This course is taught over a 52 week period
for day students, and a 54.5 week period
for night students.
Basic Manicuring
This program is taught in English. Basic
Manicure/Advanced Sculptured Nail course
offers the student the knowledge and technique
to prepare for a career as a licensed manicurist.
Students will experience theory and practical
skills in manicuring, pedicuring hand and
arm massage, lower leg and foot massage,
sanitation, anatomy, nail disease and disorders,
state law, chemistry as relating to manicuring
and advanced nail techniques.
Advanced Manicuring
The course offers the student the knowledge
and techniques to prepare for a career as
a Registered Manicurist. Students will experience
theory and practical skills in manicures,
pedicures, hand and arm massage, lower leg
and foot massage, sanitation, anatomy, nail
diseases and disorders, state law, and advanced
nail techniques, including four (4) systems
of sculpting material (tips, tips with overlays,
sculptured nails and fiberglass nails) nail
art, paraffin treatments, mending and repairing
broken and/or split nails. This course is
taught over a 12-week period for day students.
Instructor Training
Instructor Training (Cosmetology or Manicuring/Sculptured
Nails) This course is taught in English.
This course is taught over a period of 16
weeks for non title IV funded and 20 weeks
for title IV funded full time day students
and 21.8 weeks for all night students. The
Instructor Training course is designed to
guide the already licensed manicurist/cosmetologist
into a new level of expertise. The curriculum
is both theory and practical clinic training.

Member School
Academy of Beauty by Patsy and
Rob is a Pivot Point member school. Pivot
Point hair design is a fine art and the student
is the designer. As a Pivot Point member school
we strive to be the best. Pivot Point is and
internationally known throughout the Cosmetology
Industry. With the skills and knowledge you
will learn at our Academy we hope you will
be able to design your own reality.
