With over 120 years of combined knowledge and experience, our staff excels at providing hands-on training in advanced techniques in cutting, perming, coloring, and nail technology.

We have many additions to our training center! We have added federal funding to our financial aid package. We can now accept the Pell Grant and Direct Loans for those who qualify. We have also added a professional salon environment for our advanced students to practice salon management and services. We also have a new esthetics program with industry-standard equipment in our day spa!

Programs Offered
Cosmetology Program
Our students receive advanced training in cutting, perming, coloring, and nail technology. The Academy recognizes and develops an individual's potential, thus striving to produce qualified hairdressers invested in the concept of hair fashion. Academic and practical programs are designed to be of the highest quality. Techniques and skills are instructed and taught to challenge students to meet and surpass the state-required level of cosmetology.

Here are some of the advanced courses we offer at the Academy of Hair Design.

COSMETOLOGY COURSE

• 33.5 or 20 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday
• Haircutting & Styling (men and women)
• Razor Cutting
• Clipper cutting
• Perming
• Coloring
• Manicures/Pedicures
• Acrylic nail application
• Fiberglass nail application
• All state required Sanitation, etc.
  

NAIL TECH COURSE

• 33.5 or 20 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday
• Manicures/Pedicures

Barbering Program
At The Academy, our goal is to provide students with advanced, innovative education program available. Not just with technical training, but also by equipping you with knowledge and trade secrets about running a successful business.

You can receive the training necessary to work in a day spa environment.
