The School
Our new campus is a state-of-the-art facility that provides a high tech atmosphere and model for progressive personal development.

Fully equipped to meet the demands of modern hair designing, the new facility includes private classrooms, dispensary, color bar, lather lounge and skin spa, both beginning and advanced clinic floors, reception area and retail store, student lounge and lockers, impressive stage room for guest artists and demonstrations, and advisory offices.

We have regional and national suppliers of products who demonstrate to our students the use of their newly developed procedures, products, and equipment. We encourage students to enter hair and nail competitions to better themselves.

The school does not offer housing. A parking space will be provided for the student in the lot next to the school.

Financial Aid
Tuition may be full or partially covered by one or a combination of these, provided the student meets eligibility requirements. There are various convenient ways to fund your education at The Academy of Little Rock. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Our Financial Aid Department will be happy to work with you. They are prepared to explain all your financial options and to walk you through everything you need to know and do to start a new career in the Salon and Beauty Industry.

Mission
The Academy of Little Rock a Paul Mitchell Partner School believes that its training is an important part of the nation's vocational education system. The school prepares students to take the Arkansas State Board examination and to compete in the public work place. We believe a close cooperation with businesses, industry, school owners, regulatory agencies and all the community are required.

Courses
The curriculum at the Academy of Little Rock Academy meets all state requirements for hours of study. All courses include extensive instruction and practical experience.

The Academy of Little Rock is dedicated to preparing our students to not only pass the State licensing examination, but to empower them to build personal confidence to become successful right from the start.

Basic Cosmetology Program Overview
PAUL MITCHELL'S progressive learning environment and talented Learning Leaders facilitate the experience by providing students with extensive hands-on and classroom training in design, cutting, coloring, multi-cultural techniques, the science of bone structure and facial-shape adaptability. We also mentor future professionals in attitude, retailing, and personal appearance and offer various business development classes. We'll prepare you for the state board examination, to launch a successful career and so much more.

Placement Service
The school does not guarantee employment to its students. However, we are interested in assisting qualified and interested graduates in obtaining employment by making available employment positions. Students may register for employment assistance, which will consist of identifying employment opportunities and advisement on appropriate means to realize these opportunities. We also have a job board posted in the student lounge.
