Statement
of Purpose
The Academy of Aesthetics Arts and Sciences
strives to provide the most comprehensive,
up-to-date Aesthetics curriculum available.
Students deserve to be educated with current
product lines and techniques, to become
valuable assets to the industry, and to
enjoy themselves in the process. The Academy
makes this possible by providing more interactive
instruction and supervised practice time
with the products and equipment that are
in demand by both the industry and consumers.
Our Director of Education is an Arizona
state licensed Aesthetics instructor. She
has seven years experience as a makeup artist
including two years as a featured artist
and retail manager for a major cosmetic
line. She currently teaches Arizona licensing
aesthetics courses and advanced Masters'
classes for all phases of makeup artistry
including stage, film, special effects and
runway.
Our program allows for classes in advanced
techniques, both in aesthetics and makeup,
built into the curriculum. Whether you are
interested in working in the medical field
as an aesthetician, in salon and spas, or
as a professional makeup artist, the Academy
of Aesthetics Arts and Sciences will prepare
you and set you apart from the competition
in your field.
Our Philosophy
The time that you have dedicated to education
for your future career is valuable; it's
your time. It is our job at the Academy
to make this time as productive and beneficial
to your future as possible. We provide both
full-time and part-time classes. We believe
in small classes, hands- on training, interactive
theory lessons, and a friendly, encouraging
environment.

Our
Facility
Our facility is designed to provide both
comfortable learning and a true spa experience.
As students progress and master different
treatments they have the opportunity to
work in our fully-equipped spa, complete
with wet treatment room, cozy aesthetics
stations, and retail area.
The Academy of Aesthetics Arts and Sciences
is conveniently located at 7890 S. Hardy
in Tempe, south of Elliot Road, with easy
access to the 101, I-10 and I-60 freeways.
Our 6750 square foot facility includes:
- Full spa and wet room with Vichy shower
and dressing room for hands-on experience
working in a spa
- Retail area and student store
- Intimate classrooms
- Student clinic for models and student
practice
- Spacious student center for studying
and projects
- Student computer for studying and projects
with helpful programs
- Professional makeup studio
- Student kitchen and break area
Also, the Academy has included a multifunctional
theatre space into the school layout to
accommodate guest speakers and demonstrations.
It functions as stage and catwalk for runway
shows, theatre productions, photography
shoots and video shoots in which advanced
makeup students will showcase their talents.
The space may also serve as larger class
room space for large projects.

After receiving a diploma from the Academy
and passing the State Board of Cosmetology
written and practical examinations you will
be qualified to pursue many different occupations
as an Aesthetician. Some facets of the field
