Acaydia School of Aesthetics and Makeup Arts is a private institution offering students educational opportunities in the beauty industry.

Students at Acaydia work with high-end equipment and celebrity endorsed products. Acaydia is proud to be the only aesthetic school in the nation training its future practitioners on the exclusive and celebrity-endorsed Sonya Dakar product line. The products of Hollywood's "fairy skin-mother", Sonya Dakar, are often featured in People, Elle, Vogue, and Cosmopolitan and are endorsed by celebrities, such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Kirsten Dunst and Cameron Diaz.

Acaydia also offers the clinical retail line and professional treatments by Glymed. Featured on The Doctors TV Show as "The clinical skin care line specially formulated to effectively address the signs of aging and promote healthy, radiant skin", students experience practical application of more advanced exfoliation. Specifically through chemical peeling and skin supplements to aid in brightening the skin, refine wrinkles and target acne using powerful antioxidants, essential vitamins, phytonutrients and alpha hydroxy acids.

Students are also certified in an off-campus training for the FDA-approved cellulite and detox treatment by Synergy. Students experience practical application of both crystal and crystal free microdermabrasion, phototherapy, hair removal by threading, full body waxing, wet treatments with a Vichy shower, eyelash extensions, laser hair removal and more!

An Advanced Makeup Arts certification is also available at Acaydia. The course prepares its graduates with the skills necessary for a rewarding career in makeup artistry in any capacity. It provides an in-depth study of makeup from its origins, color mixing, prosthetics, corrective makeup, airbrush methods, false lash application and more, followed by a professional photo shoot, staged and directed by the student.

Career opportunities for the industry have never been better. The International Spa Association (ISPA) correctly perceives, "The spa experience is increasingly being highlighted in movies, television shows, ads and numerous articles. The attention that's being paid to the benefits of the spa experience is helping consumers incorporate spa into their everyday lives." Many aestheticians go on to fulfill successful careers as manufacturer sales representatives, school educators and cosmetic buyers as well as motion picture makeup artists.
