Our School
Welcome to Avi Career Training, an accredited, internationally recognized academy specializing in Natural and Holistic Health. We offer programs in Esthetics and Beauty Wellness Therapy. Students come from all over the world to study our techniques, methods and comprehensive continuing education programs since we offer student visas.

We are accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and approved by the National Certification Board of Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the State Council on Higher Education in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. We are a Veterans Benefit "GI Bill" Approved School.

We are Department of Justice approved for student visas.

Our student loan program through SLM Corporation (a subsidiary of Sallie Mae Loans) can assist you with any financial need you may have.

We are flexible and accommodate all schedules, including daytime, evenings and weekends.

Courses Offered
Esthetics
The objective of this course is to teach you to become a professional esthetician. You will be competent in all aspects of treating the skin, caring for the client, business theory and ethics, as well as manual and machine facial techniques.

Numerous career avenues are available for the professional esthetician, including resorts, local salons, the leisure and entertainment industries, as well as working with a dermatologist.

Beauty Wellness Therapy Program
The objective is to teach the nature and health of the skin, as well as the professional art of scientific skin care treatments. The program also includes information on types of products and equipment used. The purpose of the program is to combine all three courses, thereby rendering the student as a Certified Beauty Wellness Therapist who possesses all the skills desired to assist in all aspects of full-service spas and resorts, as well as numerous other venues. Because each subject is very extensive, only the shared topics, such as Bacteriology, Sanitation and Ethics, etc., will be covered together. All other topics will be covered alternately.

Financial Aid
We participate in government financial aid programs because we are accredited.

Also, you may consider finding out whether you qualify for a Career Training Loan though SLM Financial Corporation, a Sally Mae company. Application forms are available at the School.

The School is approved by the State Approving Agency for the training of eligible veterans and their dependents.

Students may also qualify for the Dislocated Worker Program (PIC or EDWAA) or for a Rehabilitative Program.
