Aspen Beauty Academy of Laurel has been training Maryland students for successful cosmetology careers for 20 years. Our graduates have become professionals in a wide range of positions, from salon owners and stylists, to cosmetology instructors and beauty consultants.

Aspen Beauty Academy of Laurel only offers a cosmetology program. This covers hair, skin and nails. We do not offer barbering, nail technician, esthetician or makeup programs.

With us, you can become a cosmetologist in less than a year with:

Our 1500-hour cosmetology program is approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission, NACCAS, and the Maryland State Board of Cosmetologists.

Now Offering Financial Aid!

Aspen Beauty Academy of Laurel is Nationally Accredited by NACCAS and is approved to offer Title IV Financial Aid by the Department of Education, to those that qualify.

Aspen Beauty Academy of Laurel is also an official school of choice for the Military Spouse Career Advancement (MyCAA) initiative. Eligible spouses can receive up to $4000 in grants towards their education. This can even be in addition to other financial aid.

Careers

Cosmetology is a career that offers a good living. It also offers flexible employment options including part time, full time or self-employment. Work schedules may include evenings and weekends, times when beauty salons are busiest.

There are a wide variety of professional choices available to cosmetologists - these include Hairstylists, Salon Owner or Manager, Fashion Show Stylist, Platform Artist and Educator, Beauty Magazine Writer or Editor, and Salon Chain Manager.
