Mission
The mission of Austin's School of Spa Technology is to provide an education that is learner-centered, theoretically grounded, and practically rigorous in order to prepare students for their chosen career paths in the beauty, spa, and other related industries.

Cosmetology
The Austin's School of Spa Technology (formerly, Austin Beauty School) has offered comprehensive training in the area of appearance enhancement for 75 years. The Austin program in Cosmetology focuses on the development of the knowledge bases and skills that students need not only to pass the NYS Appearance Enhancement Licensing Examination but also to become exemplary professionals in their chosen career paths. A cosmetology license will allow you, the student, to create a career that is as individual and creative as you are. If you are looking for a program that values the practical as well as the artistic, the tried-and-true as well as the trendy, and the foundational as well as the fashionable, the Austin's program is for you!

Barbering
"Everything old is new again" or so the saying goes and Barbering is no exception. The word Barber brings up lots of old fashioned images-but barbering is experiencing a renaissance. The new barber is trained in the foundational skills, with an eye to the cutting edge of men's grooming. Men today are looking for their own place: a place where they can feel comfortable receiving services that are designed specifically for them, and a person who is dedicated to providing those services. Esthectics - 600 hours

Austin's School of Spa Technology has offered training in the area of appearance enhancement for nearly 80 years. Austin's program in Esthetics focuses on the development of the knowledge bases and skills that students need to not only pass the NYS Esthetics Licensing Exam but also to become exemplary professionals in skin care. An Estheticians license will allow you to pursue a career where you can bring out the inner beauty of your clients, and help them look their best!
