Always love this place. Been many times. Have no fear of students cutting or coloring your hair, they are supervised and my hair has come out absolutely better than I expected. I tell all my friends about this place.

I have been going to Avalon for many years now and did not know I could leave a review on my experiences here until yesterday. When I get my hair done I always observe the students client skills in listening and consulting their Instructor and also their tone and body behavior when listening to their Instructor. Because the Students graduate so quickly (I think it’s 10 or11 months time) I am always meeting new Students every month. However I want to give a shout out to 3 Students if I may because Google only allows one review per business, per consumer. So Juliana, Heavynn, and Tariq this review is about You! Heavynn (I hope I spelled her name right) is a Military wife and a young Mother going to school to one day open her own salon. She is very sweet, treats her clients like they’re the only one in the room. She does very well with color and is willing to learn new skills. Heavynn takes her time with you. I have not left the appointment with color stains on my face. Thank you. Now I would like to give a review on Juliana… Juliana is a Veteran of the U.S. Navy as a Corpsman. Juliana does excellent work with Color and Haircuts and I hope she never leaves. I enjoy seeing her when I go to the school. Juliana when finished with my Hair Color will check everything around my face, neck and ears for color stains and cleans it off before she blow dries my hair. She takes her time when coloring and doesn’t section thick pieces of hair to color. You want a stylist to take their time because hair is a work of art. Thank you Juliana for helping me understand the Military and how things work. I am a grandma to a solider in Navy going to School to be a corpsman and had mentioned to her that I text him often but he doesn’t reply and she told me they are keeping him very busy right now and his days are long. She is a sweetheart and I am thankful for her. Thank you for taking care in your time dealing with my thick hair when I can get an appointment with you. It is hard to get an appointment with her! She’s a busy girl. Tariq is also a Veteran of the Army and also a Medic Specialist when he served. Listen everyone, if you want a good shampoo and scalp massage….. he is your guy! I have had one of his shampoos and scalp massages and my scalp was feeling so awesome! Oh my gosh!! I was amazing. There are some cosmetologist that are afraid to get in there when you need a shampoo and scrub after a Hair Color and massage for whatever reason. Avalon School of Beauty has so many options at an affordable price. Check them out. Remember these are students learning and are checked on often by their instructor to see how they are doing. Will continue going back. When I call for an appointment I ask for Juliana , or Heavynn, and now will add Tariq as well. I am so thankful God has placed you in my life in this season. You are all wonderful kids (young adults).
