• Under the direction and guidance of skilled instructors you receive individual attention and personalized instruction with a focus on your unique learning style.
• Using innovative curriculums we provide the creative, trend, technical, retail and professional business-building education needed to establish a promising career.
• Recognized professionals in the salon, medical and spa fields are included in the curriculum to provide students with opportunities to learn from outstanding leaders in the industry.
• The cosmetology course incorporates 1,500 hours of extensive hands-on learning. Upon completion, you will be prepared to take the state board exam and succeed as a licensed cosmetologist.
• To complete and acknowledge your achievement, graduation ceremonies are held to include family and friends. Along with diplomas, special recognition and certificates of achievements are presented.

• Creative editorial, fashion show, theater, movie production and photo shoot work in hair and makeup.
• Students are provided many opportunities to compete in local and national competitions.
• 2007 provided the first opportunity for two Aveda Fredric’s Institute students to compete in the North American Hairstyling Awards student category. Cincinnati student Mandy Wooten was named as a top five finalist and Indianapolis student Jessica Zehnder was awarded Student Hairstylist of the Year, a most prestigious award within the industry.
  

Career Placement
We provide tools, events, training and personalized attention to assist graduates in their career search.

• Graduates find success and fulfillment in a range of careers.
• Placement rates are above the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences required percentage.
• Career fairs are held exclusively for Aveda Fredric's Institute students and prospective employers.
• A career board lists hiring needs at a variety of salon spas which can also be accessed on line by alumni.
• Classroom time is dedicated to interviewing skills, business portfolio and resumes. Each student is offered an individual session to aid in career placement.
  

Admissions and Financial Aid
We believe every student should be able to obtain an education, regardless of financial status.

• Our Admissions Team aids students in resourcing financial assistance and completing necessary forms.
• Federal Financial Aid is available at our Cincinnati Institute.
