Aveda Environmental Lifestyle Store
The Institute of Beauty and Wellness -a retail center for Aveda hair, skin, flower and plant Pure-FumeTM and body care, makeup and lifestyle products. The store gives you the opportunity to practice your client service and retailing skills.
Students work with a line of earth-friendly products, following Aveda's support of environmental sustainability. We are passionate as both artists and citizens and encourage our students to become agents of change in their community.
Student Classrooms
Classrooms of all sizes have been designed to provide the proper environment for different types of learning and activities. Small Student to Instructor ratio provides individualized training. The classrooms all include audio-visual equipment such as; televisions, videocassette recorders, DVD players, overhead projectors and PowerPoint. Student also attend assemblies to provide monthly recognition and communication to students and help them to see the value in positive team meetings
Cosmetology
Express your creativity and talent in hair, skin, nail care, makeup and the related sciences. Our cosmetology course incorporates extensive hands-on learning to provide you with a complete understanding of beauty and wellness. Upon completion, you'll be ready to succeed as a licensed cosmetologist.
Esthiology
Prepare for an exciting future in skin care with The Institute of Beauty and Wellness. Our Esthiology curriculum provides skin care training with an emphasis on using pure flower and plant essences in treatments. Upon completion, you'll be ready to succeed as a licensed esthetician.
Manicuring
Develop a complete understanding of nail care services as well as hand and foot care. Learn Aveda's natural manicuring and pedicuring techniques as well as the latest technology in acrylic and fiberglass extensions.
Massage
Learn how to create wellness through the power of touch. A balanced study of anatomy, physiology, pathology, aromaology,TM and body movement techniques adds depth to the massage techniques you'll use to revitalize your clients. After completing course requirements, and becoming a certified massage therapist, you'll have the skills you need to find employment in a spa, health club or chiropractic clinic.

Academic and Student Advising
The Institute of Beauty and Wellness provides academic advising to all students. We will help you with tutoring should you experience challenges in meeting the minimum performances standards and course requirements as set by The Institute and the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation & Licensing.
Funding For Your Program - Financial Aid
Scholarships available
The Institute of Beauty and Wellness offers Federal Financial Aid for those who qualify for the Cosmetology and Massage Therapy programs. The school is in the process of securing Federal Financial Aid for the Esthiology program.
In addition to financial aid, we offer payment plans structured to fit financial needs.
Housing
The Institute of Beauty and Wellness can assist students in finding roommates and suitable housing.
