The Aveda Institute San Antonio was founded to create the most successful entrepreneurs in hairdressing and esthetics. Our curriculum provides practical knowledge gained from today's most successful masters in hair, skin, esthetics, makeup, and retail sales.

We have created an atmosphere of excellence where students will flourish under the guidance of superior instructors. Our faculty draws upon many years of professional experience in the beauty industry. They maintain their expertise with annual, intense educational seminars, where they are updated with the latest information and techniques, utilizing today's most advanced methodologies.

This is reflected in our use of Aveda products and Aveda's exclusive use of pure flower and plant essences. Programs
Extensive, hands-on learning designed to prepare you with a complete understanding of beauty and wellness. An Aveda Institute education is demanding and rewarding; designed to prepare you with an exceptional foundation for a professional career in hair, skin, and makeup application.

We currently offer programs in the following:

• Cosmetology
• Esthiology

Addionally, the Cosmetology and Esthiology educational experience will include:

• Introduction to Aveda products, with their origins and benefits.
• Guest speakers to inform on recent trends and procedures.
• Time management and client consultation skills.
• Body wellness and environmental concerns and issues.
  

The curriculum includes combinations of three approaches to education:

1. Theoretical Knowledge - foundation of your knowledge.
2. Practical Experience - application of your knowledge.
3. Professional Business - building skills vital for your success.

Facility
The Aveda Institute San Antonio is located within walking distance to the beautiful and historic San Antonio River Walk and downtown area. Housed in the developing Pearl Brewery historic site, the institute will anchor one of the most spectacular and unique locations in this captivating city.
