Annual Runway Show - We let our talented students take the reigns on this one. Students choose an overall theme, and are also responsible for their Model's...head to toe. Hair, makeup, wardrobe, the works. We allow their creativity to take over. This black-tie event is brimming with 200+ guests consisting of students' family, close friends, and salon owners from all over the Valley.

Brillare Ambassadors (Brillare's version of student council) - Want to see behind the scenes? Become a Brillare Ambassador, the voice of our student body.

Salon Field Trips - This is not a field trip you want to ditch. Each BHA senior class is asked to pick top salons they dream of working at. Dressed to impress with resumes and portfolios in hand, they embark on a day of job-seeking preparation with our Director of Career Placement. At each salon, the Salon Owner or Manager takes our seniors on a full tour explaining every detail along the way. It's not out of the ordinary to get hired on the spot.

Licensure

While working on the floor, Brillare Hairdressing Academy also prepares students to pass the necessary state board exams successfully. The skills required for these tests are somewhat different from the typical styles used by our salons. Working on practical tasks outlined on the state board sheets will ensure the exams can be passed with flying colors, with plenty of time to spare.

Financial Aid

At Brillare Hairdressing Academy we understand that you are in the process of making a very important decision to pursue a career in the Cosmetology Industry. We are here to help and support you with that transition. Now that you have made the crucial decision to continue your education, the next step in the process you may be thinking about is how you are going to cover the cost of your education.

The Academy participates in a number of Federal Aid Programs including the Federal Pell Grant, Direct Stafford Loans and the Direct PLUS Loans Programs for parents of dependent students.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify.

Another valuable resource is that the Academy works with the Department of Veterans Affairs and is approved for training of veterans and their dependents.

Here at Brillare Hairdressing Academy we consider ourselves to be a full-service financial aid office. We prefer to assist you with the entire application process. Location

Brillare's southeast valley branch campus is located at the entrance to the beautiful Ahwatukee Foothills, an epicenter of new residential and retail construction. This flourishing community is tucked away from the other urban villages of Phoenix by South Mountain and South Mountain Park, and a frequent destination of outdoor enthusiasts. This campus occupies over 10,400 square feet. This site consists of our reception area, break room, clinic service area, two freshman classrooms, an advanced education classroom and a dispensary.
