Welcome to Cameo College of Essential Beauty.
It is our mission to provide the highest
quality of education possible and to supply
the Cosmetology Arts and Sciences with true
professionals.
Cameo College has been in business for over
35 years. We strive to seek individuals
who are not only interested in the field
of Cosmetology, Electrology, Nails, Permanent
Cosmetics, Esthetics and Barbering but those
who are ambitious to succeed.
We educate our students in the technical
aspects of their chosen field using top
instruction methods including the latest
hair cutting techniques through Our Sassoon
Academy School Connection program.
Our students learn responsibility, dependability,
independence, self-confidence, self-sufficiency,
public relations, salesmanship, business
skills, and much, much more! We use the
Nuts & Bolts Business Education program
to give our students the business skills
they need to succeed in the salon and spa
industry today.

When you enter Cameo College
you will feel as if you have just stepped
into an upscale New York Salon - our amazing
facilities, built in 2006 consist of 20,000
square feet. Using State of the Art Equipment,
our college consists of 3 levels, each with
a distinct character - all designed to create
a learning environment with a true reality
of the "Professional Salon World"
Our lower level is referred to as "The Student
Serviced Adult Day Spa." With warm vintage
décor, a European sense surrounds you and
our many guests.
Our incredible staff, including owner/educator
Brenda Sharman, and Plastic Surgeon, Dr.
Richard Fryer, are dedicated to giving you
the outstanding education you deserve.
PROGRAMS OFFERED
COSMETOLOGY
Today a career in cosmetology offers unlimited
possibilities with trained professionals
earning $40 to $100 an hour or more.
During our program you will learn the latest
techniques of hair cutting through our Vidal
Sassoon program. We our proud to be a Sassoon
Academy Connection Member School.
Other topics covered include hairstyling,
chemical relaxing, color, extensions, permanent
waving, braiding, artificial lashes/extensions,
makeup, ear piercing, and training through
our Nuts and Bolts Business College.
Day and Evening / Full-time and Part-time
schedules are available.
BARBERING
(New)
The State of Utah now offers a Barbering
license. Today the Barbering field offers
more opportunities than ever - and the potential
to earn $20 or more per hour.
You will learn all phases of the Barber
Industry including hair cutting, shaving,
beard and mustache design, and hair styling.
Day and Evening / Full-time and Part-time
schedules are available.
 ESTHETICIAN
Today the field of esthetics is rapidly
growing. Estheticians earn $50 to $80 per
hour. Master Estheticians can earn up to
$150 per hour. There are employment opportunities
in salons, spas, medi-spas, and doctor's
offices.
LEVEL 1 MASTER ESTHETICIAN COURSE
In the Level 1 Basic Esthetics program,
you will learn all phases of basic esthetics,
along with hand and foot treatments, spa
waxing, spa facial treatments, limited exfoliation,
and business skills through our Nuts and
Bolts Business College.
Day and Evening / Full-time and Part-time
schedules are available.
LEVEL 2 MASTER ESTHETICIAN COURSE
In our Master Esthetician Course you will
perfect the skills learned in Level 1, as
well as additional Clinical Treatments such
as Chemical Peeling, Microdermabrasion,
LED Light Therapy, Ultrasound, and Skin
Tag/Spider Vein/ Ruby Point Removal. As
a Master Level student, you will study with
Dr. Richard Fryer, Plastic Surgeon, to learn
skills in Laser Skin Treatments, Laser Hair
Removal, Fillers, Sclerotherapy, Botox,
Identifying Skin Cancers, and pre/post operative
procedures.
Day and Evening / Full-time and Part-time
schedules are available.
FULL ESTHETICIAN COURSE
Students may enroll in our combination program
which leads to a Master Esthetician license.
ELECTROLOYSIS
Today Electrologists earn $45 to $65 per
hour. In our Electrologist course you will
learn all phases of permanent hair removal
including Glavanic, multiple Needle Electrolysis,
Laser, Waxing, and business training through
our Nuts and Bolts Business College.
PERMANENT MAKE-UP
Today Permanent Cosmetic Technicians earn
$250 - $400 per hour. Our state of the art
program will train you in all phases necessary
to become a Softap Permanent Cosmetics Technician.
This 50 hour course covers everything you
need to know to enter this exciting and
profitable area in beauty. Techniques covered
during the course include eyebrow fill,
eyebrow feather, eyeliner, lip liner, lip
fill, accent marks, advanced highlighting,
color theory, and more!
NAIL TECHNICIAN
FINANCING YOUR
EDUCATION
We are a nationally accredited school and
offer federal financial aid to those students
who qualify. In addition, we offer student
loans and payment plans. Our financial aid
department is here to help you - please
make an appointment to discuss payment options
with our dedicated staff.
