If you desire to be a professional within the field of beauty, while incorporating a quality lifestyle, CAPRI will assist you. Our goal is to help you become that promising professional, by training you in the principles and practices of professional Cosmetology (Hair, Skin and Nails.) Upon successful completion of your chosen program of study at CAPRI Institute, you will be prepared to meet state licensing requirements.

Open Admission
Admission to CAPRI Institute is open to everyone. We give every applicant an interview and entrance examination. When these are favorable, we admit you to the cosmetology, esthetics and manicuring courses if you have a high school diploma or its state-recognized equivalent.

If you do not have a diploma or a G.E.D. and are over 16 (the age of compulsory education in New Jersey) and are no longer attending HS; you can enroll in CAPRI if you do the following:

• Have an evaluation to show your ability in the field of cosmetology and obtain a high school diploma or GED prior to graduation or prior to completion of the first year of the program whichever is earlier, or
• Pass a test which will indicate your ability to benefit from a course in Cosmetology, Esthetics or Nail Technology. You may speak to our Associate Director to decide which admission practice fits your personal circumstance.

Placement Services
We provide immediate and lifetime career placement assistance and counseling to all CAPRI students and graduates regardless of which CAPRI school you attend. There is no cost for this lifetime job placement service. Job Listings are availalbe 24 hours a day on our website.

Student Equipment
State-of-the-art professional equipment is included in the total tuition and is to be kept by the student after graduation. Also available to our students is a complete reference library and audio visual aids.
