For over 30 years, Catherine Hinds Institute has been training students in the art and science of skin care. Now, you can train to become an esthetician through one of the many programs that we offer. Esthetics Programs

The mission of the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics is to offer the finest education and hands-on training in basic and advanced skin care and spa therapy. Our school envisions the esthetician and spa therapist of the 21st century as a primary force in skin health, integrating traditional and whole health care practices in a variety of settings.

Our programs include:

• 300-hour Basic Esthetics: Provides the student with all of the necessary basic information as required by the State to operate at an entry level esthetician position performing American and European Facial treatments, make-up artistry and hot wax depilation techniques.
• 600-hour Advanced Esthetics: Designed to prepare the student to perform comprehensive facial esthetic services, including glycolic acid application, lymphatic drainage of the face and neck, advanced extraction techniques, aromatherapy treatments for the skin and age management.
• 900-hour Accelerated Advanced Esthetics: Provides an overview of what can be expected in an advanced clinical setting. Students can expect to develop an understanding of advanced acne and age management treatments as well as corrective makeup.
• 900-hour Spa Therapy Esthetics: Meet the increased market demand for total body esthetic services. Relaxation and detoxification body treatments are combined with all aspects of facial esthetic treatment theory to offer the most comprehensive body estheticss program available.
• 1200-hour Master Esthetics: Covers esthetic theory and treatment. Students can expect to develop an understanding of more advanced facial treatments and laser procedures as well as evaluate skin care products and ingredients.

Financial Aid and Tuition Options

We want to see you reach your goals and potential. That's why we offer career placement services to our graduates. And, we can even help with tuition. That means you could be eligible for financial aid. Both federal and state grants are available to those who qualify, as well as loans through the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program.
