The Cosmetology and Spa Institute wants to put you behind the chair. Our founder, Ned Halimi, is a former professional hairstylist, salon owner and cosmetology school manager - and he had a vision to start a cosmetology school where students could learn from his experiences. Program.

Through our Cosmetology program, you can learn the fundamentals and begin your path to success. We teach beauty through in-class instruction and hands-on training so you can start your career with experience and confidence. And we go beyond learning beauty. You learn people skills, resume writing and portfolio building so you can be prepared for your new career. As a student, you can also learn a wide range of progressive procedures and techniques such as:

Upon completion of our program, you should have the knowledge to take the Illinois state licensing exams. Once you have earned your license, your job opportunities are virtually unlimited! Explore your options in various employment possibilities, including:

The Cosmetology and Spa Institute is very proud to be the first Vidal Sassoon Connection in Illinois and one of the first nationwide.  We teach Vidal Sassoon techniques which prepares our graduates to successfully start their career at high end salons.
