Debutantes School of Cosmetology and Nail Technology is a fully licensed and approved Cosmetology School in the state of IL. We opened our doors in October of 2009 which means we have brand new equipment and up-to-date technology to assist you in your training.

Our mission is to attract salon professionals dedicated to personal growth and professional excellence, and provide tools, training and resources in a spirit of partnership for the journey we will take together. Debutantes will provide an educational foundation for creative and business success for the next generation of salon professionals. Where You'll Learn

Located in the heart of downtown DeKalb IL, you will find Debutantes School of Cosmetology and Nail Technology nestled in the midst of eclectic shops and restaurants. In our efforts to create a College experience we chose DeKalb for its close proximity to Northern Illinois University. Our facilities are located in a fully remodeled 17,000 square-foot historical building, which was first used as a theatre in 1949 termed, "The theatre of tomorrow". The facility was designed to promote and enhance educational effectiveness.

What You Will Learn

Debutantes School of Cosmetology and Nail Technology is currently enrolling students for our Full-Time  Cosmetology courses. Our Cosmetology Course is a 1500 clock-hour program that can be completed in 42 weeks will full-time hours. Our Cosmetology Program meets state requirements for all phases of study and hours. Each phase of study offers instruction in theory and practical experience. Our Pivot Point based curriculum not only prepares our students to successfully pass the state licensing examination but it also prepares our students for successful careers in the beauty industry as a licensed cosmetologist. Debutantes also offers a Skills for Business/Skills for life^TM curriculum that is a unique offering for Debutantes students. The courses were created to address skills important for success in personal and professional settings throughout life.

Enrollment Information

• When do classes start?
Debutantes School of Cosmetology and Nail Technology has Cosmetology classes starting in April, June, and August of 2010.
• How much does it cost?
Our tuition is amongst the most affordable in the area. Currently we are offering great pricing, incentives, and payment options to celebrate the opening of our school.
• What is the Schedule?
Full-time students attend classes Tuesday-Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturdays from 8am-230pm.
• How do I get started?
Debutantes School of Cosmetology and Nail Technology requires all students to visit and tour our facility prior to enrollment.
