Broad-based curriculum that prepares you for Virginia state board exams

Our Program

We'll teach you the skills you'll need for an entry-level position in a salon or spa. More importantly, we'll help prepare you for the state exams you'll need to pass in order to provide hair, nail or skin care services. Listed below are the courses we currently offer:

• Nail Technician
• Instructor Training

Tuition assistance

We know every student has talents but may lack financial resources. Title IV financial aid is available for those who qualify. Dominion School of Hair Design is approved for qualified Veterans Administration Benefits students. We also offer tuition assistance through the Greater Peninsula Workforce Development Consortium, as well as funding through the national Workforce Investment Act (WIA).

We start new classes monthly. You can attend Dominion School of Hair Design full-time, or there's also a part-time option. If you're between jobs or wishing to switch careers, it's a perfect fit.
