What we offer

We provide you with day and evening classes that allow you to focus on your area of interest, including esthetics, barbering, cosmetology, instructor training, nail technology and hair styling. Our instructors regularly attend workshops and seminars to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and trends in the ever-evolving field of cosmetology. Our Cosmetology program curriculum covers how to style, cut, and color hair; important health and sanitary procedures; and training in skincare and nail care techniques. With our focused, practical training, you can prepare to be a cut above the rest!

As a student with Durham Beauty Academy, you can have valuable, practical experience working with clients in our student-run salon. You can perform haircuts, styling, coloring, and other hair, nail, and esthetic services while you are supervised by our licensed instructors. We make enrolling at Durham Beauty Academy simple! First, contact us to schedule your personal interview with our admissions office. Then, take a tour of the academy, provide the appropriate admissions requirement information, complete our enrollment paperwork and begin your training!

Our admissions requirements include:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Have a high school diploma, high school transcript or GED
• Proof of date of birth
• Copy of social security card

Our admissions representatives are happy to answer any of your questions about the admissions process. We also proudly offer financial aid to those who qualify. We participate in federal financial aid programs such as Federal Pell Grants, Federal Stafford Loans, and PLUS Loans/Parent Loans.
