I have been at this school for a couple months and I've had a great experience. The staff is wonderful. Arif has helped me with my school finances and thoroughly made sure everything was in order from the start. He has been just a great help. Kristen is awesome too! She is a great instructor! Great staff! I genuinely feel like I've learned so much in the little time I've been here.

The haircuts are good, if they actually keep your appointment. I have been to Elaine Sterling several times over the last year for a haircut. The first two visits were fine, but they've canceled two appointments of mine last minute and rescheduled another one. One hair appointment was cancelled the same day. I was already at Lenox Mall when I received a call saying they had to push me back. Then, they called again saying they had to cancel because they didn't have enough students that day. This was a Saturday. The appointment they asked me to reschedule was also a Saturday, so I thought perhaps weekends are just bad. I made an appointment for a Friday at 2PM. That appointment was apparently cancelled, but I wasn't informed. Instead, when I confirmed via email, the online portal said I had no upcoming appointments. I found this out 48 hours before my appointment. At least they had to courtesy to call last time! I make my haircut appointments one month in advance, and with this most recent appointment, I got a half day at work so I could come in. I don't understand why the scheduling is so dysfunctional. I know it's a school, but I've gone to other cosmetology schools that didn't have such scheduling problems. By the way, the manicures don't last more than a day. Only get a manicure if you need it for one night.
