Absolutely the worst experience. From time of enrollment the school made a mistake on my social that affected financial aid. Then I was promised a discount for attending in the same month that I was never given. The day teacher Desirae is rude and condescending and asks you to watch YouTube for theory. I was in the school maybe approximately a month when I decided to withdraw. When I withdrew, right away I was told that they would not give me my transcripts until 30 - 45 days. The Director of financial aid and compliance also agreed to send me tracking information for mailed documents which didn't happen, and it seems that the are going to wait until the last minute to give me my transcripts. Worst school I have ever encountered. Unprofessional and poor work ethic. *Response to owner Jodi dishonest response First of all, we never worked side by side. It was not until I wanted to withdraw that you spoke to me and stated you wanted fix things. I addressed my concerns several times to Desirae and Sam before even speaking to you. My first complaint was that not only did I miss out on a discount, I wasn't able to start school until the following month due to Meagan's error. On the first day of class I entered the classroom from where I was told, only to be greeted by the instructor Desirae with an attitude and asking why I entered through there. No hello, no welcome to class; it was very bullish. Second complaint, the instructor told me that no theory is done at first, to do my work on Milady Cima for the first 150 hrs and to watch Glam and Beyond on YouTube. After the first week I mentioned to her that I wanted to withdraw because I wasn't comfortable and I also told her that I had different expectations. She then told me that practical is always done later and to try and just do class from home and maybe I would feel different. Which I accepted and tried. In that conversation I also told her that when I went to Cosmetology school before (which was an amazing experience) we always had theory and practical. She said that Esthetician is a little different and again reassured me that I would do practical later. Why I accepted to lower my standards in that moment still gets to me, however I didn't want to give up on school. In addition, I was told to purchase uniforms only to come and find that uniforms policy is not followed and I basically made a useless purchase. Next issue, when I decided to do hybrid I had asked Desirae to call me because I needed to take an early lunch (due to needing my vehicle repaired). Her response was "for what" in a condescending tone. I asked her what was the reason she was asking, and she said that it was because she needed to determine if it was a good reason. First of all, I am an ADULT who is PAYING for her schooling. Second, I have never had an Instructor or even Employer ask me something like that because I am and have always demonstrated to be responsible. Overall, I believe that she just didn't like that I came in with real expectations to learn and she could not deliver that. About your success rate, one student told me that a person that had just graduated didn't pass State Board and she was very stressed because she said the test didn't look like what she learned. After this and a few more other instances of inconformity I decided to withdraw, and it was only then that you addressed the issue of me missing out on the discount and wanting to fix things between me and Desirae. I agree that no person is perfect, that is why I tried to address issues several times. Lastly, as soon as I withdrew I told Sam that I needed my transcripts, her response was "it will be 30 - 45 days". I called Financial Aid to verify, they said 30 days. And you made sure I waited for them until the last moment. Not only do you lack accountability, you are dishonest. Now more than ever I know I made the correct decision in withdrawing. And just to let you know I already enrolled in another school, the experience has been amazing so far and THEY DO THEORY AND PRACTICAL FROM THE START. Wish you the best!

I understand that this is a school and the students are learning but there are teachers that are supposed to coach and correct their techniques…. With that being said, I shouldn’t have walked out looking like this 😭 the teacher kept telling my stylist “it looks good” or “good job” . PLEASE! Nothing about this is good… (I asked for a trim and long layers)
