elite is a specialty hair and makeup school OFFERING ONE COURSE OF INSTRUCTION, COSMETOLOGY, which allows us to focus our efforts on what excites you the most - hair and makeup.

At elite you will learn the cutting and coloring techniques that revolutionized the hair industry. In addition to several advanced cutting techniques you will learn the "Cutting ABC's - cutting the VIDAL SASSOON way." Without a doubt the most prestigious and desired name in the hair world today. You will also learn advanced techniques in color and makeup such as color mapping, color texturizing, creating special effects in makeup and airbrushing.

elite instructors are involved in the industry TODAY doing hair and makeup on runway shows, movies, magazines and salons. Most recently elite did hair and makeup for the Oscars, Latin Grammies, Mercedes Benz LA Fashion Week and the iPOP runway show in New York.

At elite you will have the opportunity to travel and work along side our professional teams in NY and LA in events like Fashion Week, the Oscars and/or go to LONDON for advanced training at the world's best Vidal Sassoon and Toni & Guy academies. At elite you will have the opportunity to start your professional print portfolio while in school by shooting with established fashion photographers from all over the country.

Have no doubt, our curriculum is more demanding and requires a higher level of commitment than the average school. With this kind of education, however, it is no surprise our graduates have such an impressive state board passing rate and continue to be most sought after by prestigious salons.

Unique to elite is a 6 level curriculum that spans over an 1800 hour course. 1600 hours are required to qualify to sit for the licensure examination and 200 are optional free hours.

Our educational system is creative, advanced and geared to take you above and beyond basic state board training.
