Empire Beauty School is a really good place to become a cosmetologist. The educators really care about you and your education. You are put first here, with much needed tough love. You being successful is their main priority. And it is an even greater place to be as an educator. I graduated from Empire and am now an educator with the company. I’m very excited for our growth in student body here, and to watch my students clock out in their 100 hour program, as I once did.

I was guilt tripped into giving a good review in the past when I was enrolled but after all this school put me through, I wish I could give negative stars. I was enrolled with all the false information and promises. They are magnificent layers throughout the tours. They ignored ALL of my learn disability and iep given prior to my enrollment. They let an another student double my age act beyond rude to me with no consequences or care, even after many complaints and comments of harassment. In the winter they let me drive over 45 minutes just to be closed down and had no way to contact anyone to find out how long or even if they’d be opening again. My breaking point with this school, Their policy for being sick… It does not exist! I was in the hospital 3 times within a week time and I was dropped from the program for something completely out of my control! And they didn’t even have the decency to inform me of their outrageous action. So as soon as I was well enough I made my 45+ drive just to be ignored by teachers and made to leave. They had no emotion or care. No apologies give for PLEASE DO NOT WAS YOUR TIME ENERGY OR MONEYS AT THIS GOD AWFUL SCHOOL!

My daughter enrolled and is about to graduate she missed 2 weeks due to vacation and was told she would just have to enroll when she got back. Well while on vacation I received multiple phone calls from the Financial Coordinator who declared that it was an emergency to get in contact with my daughter. Well we got back from vacation and she is not able to enroll or start for another 3 weeks although I find it very interesting that when a student enrolls they want to get them in immediately and will spam your phone when they think you owe money when in fact her tuition was paid for in full.
