There is no other career-training program
quite like the Fran Brown College of Beauty
course. Since 1980, Fran has been perfecting
a hands-on, how-to plan that gives students
a competitive advantage through the practical
component of actually working in salons
and spas. This extraordinary approach combined
with retail and life skills has resulted
in a room full of local and national awards
for Fran and her staff.

There are two training Centers at Fran Brown
College of Beauty. Esthetic students attend
classes and provide treatments at the beautiful
new Spa Training Center located directly
behind the Fran Brown Salon. This 14,000
square foot campus has student classrooms,
a pedicure/manicure room, a wet room, private
treatment rooms, a break area, a large auditorium
and administrative offices and student services.
In addition, to the esthetic program, the
facility also houses the Cosmetology Freshman
Training Center.
Advanced Cosmetology students train in a
newly renovated 8000 sq. foot campus complete
with a reception/retail area, grand clinic
and multi-media center.
Financial
Aid
The Fran Brown Achievement for Life System
offers several sources for financial assistance.
We can provide grants, scholarships and
flexible payment plans for qualified applicants.
Courses
Cosmetologist
Course
Learn all phases of cosmetology/barbering
including hair cutting, styling, permanent
waving, color, salon management, facials,
manicures, and all other related course
material.
Esthetics
Students may enroll in our Esthetics Program
at the Basic Level ( Full Time 16 Weeks),
Master Level (Full Time 16 Weeks), or combined
Master Program (Full Time 32 weeks).
BASIC ESTHETICS
Our Basic Esthetics program offers complete
skin-care training including skin analysis
and consultation, massage and lymphatic
massage, express facials, machine facials,
European facials, extractions, limited chemical
exfoliation, specialty masks, aromatherapy,
body waxing, make-up design, manicures and
pedicures, sciences and bacteriology, product
knowledge, salon management, and other related
course materials.
MASTER ESTHETICS
The Fran Brown program is a hands-on, how-to
guide that uses the practical component
of working in salons and spas. This extraordinary
approach to teaching is the key that will
help take you to the top of your career.
Our mission statement is to effectively
train students to become marketable in the
salon and spa industry. At Fran Brown College
of Beauty, students receive education through
a sequential set of learning steps, which
address specific tasks necessary for state
board preparation, graduation, and job entry-level
skills.
Our Master Esthetics program offers the
above topics but elevates your training
to the master level with topics that include
chemical acid peeling, microdermabrasion,
spa body treatments, manual lymphatic drainage,
advanced cosmetic chemistry, spa manicures
and pedicures, lash perming, and other related
materials.
Nail Technician
Learn all phases of manicuring/nails including
sanitation procedures, anatomy and physiology
of the nail, diseases of the nail, artificial
nails, nail design, and pedicures. Students
are trained in acrylic nails, fiberglass
nails and gel nails and will also learn
how to apply nail tips, forms, and overlays.
Instructor Training
In the Instructor Training program graduates
will learn all phases of cosmetology and
barbering Instructor training or esthetics
instructor training including basic teaching
methodology, educational judgments, and
proper work habits that will enable students
to become marketable and pass the State
Board examination.
High School Program
High School students can attend school and
enter the field of Cosmetology, earning
elective credits before graduation. Attend
as early as your sophomore year. Contact
