School
Georgia Beauty Academy is locally owned
and operated by its founder Brooke Emerson.
The school was opened to students and to
the public on February 1st 2005. Georgia
Beauty Academy is currently a private post-secondary
education college. If you are interested

At Georgia Beauty Academy, our professional
staff will train you to become a master
cosmetologist.
What does it mean to become a master cosmetologist?
It means you have the choice of three different
fields to choose from-all combined into
one program. In our Master Cosmetology Program,

Our goal here at GBA is to provide an opportunity
for men and women to be successful master
cosmetologists and to help motivate students
to develop maximum potential.
Our Educational
Goals
- To prepare each student to receive his
or her license by passing the State Board
Examination.
- To provide state-of-the-art training.
- To provide placement services to help
insure graduates are gainfully employed
in their fields of study.
Our Objectives
- To promote each student in individual
growth and knowledge.
- To prepare students to utilize skills
learned in training to successfully promote
the industry, market skills, and to build
successful clientele.
Master
Cosmetology Program
The curriculum for the students enrolled
in a school of cosmetology for a complete
course of a minimum of nine (9) months at
full time status. The training shall be
as follows:
- Each student shall obtain the required
hours of training before the student performs
clinical services on a client. The initial
time is devoted to theory and training
on mannequins, skin care, nail care, and
live models.
- When a student has completed the initial
required hours, with the minimum passing
score of 75%, the student is prepared
to progress to the clinic floor to perform
clinical services on patrons.
Once graduated and passed the state exam,
you will have your master cosmetology license,
this means you can choose how you want to
work, you can:
- Set your own schedule
- Own your own salon
- Further your education
We also offer on-the-job placement!
Hours of Operation
We offer an Open House Tuesdays thru Fridays
for anyone interested in a career in the
beauty industry. Come tour our school before
you make your final decision! Georgia Beauty
Academy enrolls everyday. Classes begin
the 1st Tuesday of every month.
