What You'll Learn
COSMETOLOGY
An education from Gene Juarez Academy goes
far beyond cutting hair. Our high standards
and world-class approach provide students
with the tools, techniques, business and
life skills to become successful.
You will learn the latest cutting, coloring,
texturizing and styling techniques along
with introductions to nail and skin care
services. We carry a wide variety of top
professional product lines such as L'Oreal
Professionnel Serie Expert, Bumble & Bumble,
TRI, Mizani, American Crew, ISO and Essie.
This is a huge benefit to students because
they graduate with the experience of working
with these lines on a variety of hair types
and conditions, making them a more versatile
artist.
You will also study communication skills,
goal achievement, portfolio management,
job search techniques, client building,
and licensing exam preparation in a fun
and creative learning environment. Our dedicated
and passionate education team will guide
and support you every step of the way.
3-Day Learning
Schedule
We offer a more life-friendly training schedule
for all students enrolling in the cosmetology
program. The new schedule is designed to
help students live a more balanced lifestyle
and minimize stress while attending the
Academy.
The schedule provides future artists with
a training program of 3, 10-hour days per
week, allowing 4 days a week to balance
work, play, family and friends.

HAND & FOOT THERAPY
As the beauty industry evolves, new services
come into being. One such service is hand
and foot therapy, a special offering that
combines the art and science of skin and
nail care with the wellness and stress relief
of massage.
The hand and foot therapy program prepares
students with skills that will enable them
to perform natural nail services offered
in a spa environment.
One of the most rewarding things we can
do in life is to be of service to others.
As a hand and foot therapist, you will not
only aid in your guests' appearance, you
will help them feel healthier.
Another benefit of this training program
is that there is a growing demand for skilled
nail technicians and hand and foot therapists
at salons and spas nationwide.
Schedule
Our 4-day program will provide you with
comprehensive training in hand and foot
therapy, including skin and nail care, reflexology
massage and proven business practices in
as little as 4 months. All to help you succeed
as a skilled nail technician-therapist in
a salon and spa environment.
