Gill-Tech Academy of Hair Design
was founded to provide a contemporary alternative
to a basic Cosmetology/Barbering education.
Although all schools in Wisconsin must follow
the state requirements for an education
in cosmetology, it is our mission to provide
you with the extra knowledge and experience
essential to effectively compete in the
salons of the future.
Gill-Tech Academy has moved into a beautiful
state-of-the-art facility located on the
corner of McCarthy and College one block
west of Barnes and Noble.
Cosmetology/Barbering
Course
This curriculum covers instruction and training,
which upon completion leads to a diploma
that will enable the graduate to become
licensed as a cosmetology/barber operator
in the state of Wisconsin when state board
testing requirements have been attained.
The cosmetology curriculum at Gill-Tech
is composed of a variety of different courses,
which are taught in the Freshman, Sophomore,
Junior, and Senior levels. In essence, a
course is introduced in the Freshman level,
reiterated in the Sophomore and Junior level
and completed in the Senior level.

Nail-Tech/Manicure
Course
This 20 week curriculum covers instruction
and training, which upon completion leads
to a diploma that will enable the graduate
to become licensed as a manicurist in the
state of Wisconsin when state board testing
requirements have been attained.
The course of instruction is based on Milady
Art & Science of Nail Technology. Our curriculum
has been designed to provide students with
a solid foundation in the fundamentals of
manicuring, which is then expanded to meet
the requirements of a contemporary salon
setting

Esthetics Course

Registration Policies
New classes normally begin every other month.
Actual class start dates may change as a
function of class size. Enrollment applications
can be obtained from the admissions office.
Preregistration is advisable due to limitations
in class size. Applications to enroll for
a specific month will be accepted until
the course start date, if class size permits.
An appointment with the admissions office
should be scheduled to review admissions
requirements, class starting dates, register
for class as well as to tour the facility.
