This is an exciting time at Greenwood Academy
of Hair. Our goal is to continually improve
the look and feel of the school. Our current
students have given us many good ideas on
how to make Greenwood Academy the best school
in Seattle.
We have improved the clinic floor with new
paint and fun lighting including our "Light
Mohawk". We installed new equipment and
added a new and bigger classroom. We created
a new student lounge that is comfortable
and convenient for our students.
Mission Statement
Our training program is carefully planned
and dedicated to give each student the ultimate
in Cosmetology and Esthetician training.
Current trends and techniques are featured
in these programs. Our program is and will
be constantly updated with new and innovative
techniques, methods, equipment, facilities
and academic curriculum to ensure the educational
growth of both our staff and students.
About Us
We are an established Academy that has been
teaching students for over 25 years. We
will provide you with experienced instructors
while always keeping our curriculum innovative,
fun and exciting. We have relationships
with many of the best salons in the Seattle
area and will work closely with you to make
the transition from student to career.
Greenwood Academy is located in the Greenwood
neighborhood on the corner of 85th St. North
and Greenwood Ave. North. We have many long
term clients and because of our great location
we get many walk in clients. Our goal is
to continue to build upon our client base
so that our students can get as much hands
on experience as possible.
 Programs
Offered
We at Greenwood want to extend
an invitation to you to come and visit our
school, feel the atmosphere, and meet our
staff and students. We have students from
all ages and at different stages in their
life.
Cosmetology
Greenwood Academy of Hair currently offers
a Cosmetology program that encompasses all
phases of hairstyling, cutting coloring,
permanent waving, skin care, manicures,
pedicures, and waxing. This program is available
in both day and night classes, so you can
work around your schedule.
Esthetics
We understand that a career in Esthetics
is much more that what product you use.
It is about the science and integrity of
the skin. This is our priority when educating
you. Esthetics is a highly competitive industry.
We promise to give you the edge that is
necessary to make your mark. The Esthetics
program at Greenwood Academy involves instruction
and theory in all phases of facials, hair
removal, body treatments, and make-up. This
program is also available in both day and
night classes, so you can work around your
busy schedules.
Instructors Training
Our Instructor Training Program provides
you with all the tools and techniques to
use your knowledge to teach others. When
offer this program for both Cosmetology
and Esthetics. Upon completion of the program
and licensing you will be qualified to teach
in a licensed school. Once again, this program
is offered both day and night classes.
Classes start soon in both Cosmetology and
Esthetics, so don't wait. Let your creative
