Who We Are

Hair Benders Academy has the philosophy and motto to "Just Teach & Change Lives". We strive to always put the student first while providing a quality education. Our educators work hard to prepare our students with a modern curriculum in a "real life" hands-on career training environment. During the course of the program, students learn various techniques and skills to make them ready for a successful career in less than one year!

About our Program

At Hair Benders Academy, we offer both day and evening classes. Our Cosmetology program is designed to teach you the art of the industry, not just the techniques of it. We are "Committed to Excellence" and we want to share our passion with you!

Cosmetology students learn how to tame those wild manes of curly hair with the right products, bring life into once lifeless hair with the right cut and style for your clients and you'll also be part "mad-scientist" and learn the chemistry behind color science and choosing the best color to bring out your clients natural beauty. Cosmetologists work in an exciting people-oriented profession and love to help people look and feel their absolute best.

Our Cosmetology program utilizes Milady's Standard Cosmetology Curriculum as well as the Martin Parsons Educational series. Students learn both in the classroom and also with hands-on practical experience using industry professional tools and products such as Pravana Haircolor, eXo Haircare products and Kasho tools.

Cosmetology students are prepared prior to graduation in the skills and techniques needed to be successful in the beauty industry and are given the tools and resources they need so they can provide for themselves and their career future.

Advanced Education
Hair Benders Academy also offers Advanced Education classes to all our students and graduates because learning doesn't just happen in the classroom or on the clinic floor. We encourage everyone to participate in Advanced Education workshops to expand their knowledge and create more opportunities for them when seeking employment.

Some of these Advanced Education workshops include trend release cutting, coloring and styling, chemical free and traditional extensions, ethnic haircutting, styling and chemical services, Runway, Fashion and Special fx Make-Up, nail artistry and application techniques, advanced skin care training methods, color correction, Men's cutting and much more! We believe knowledge is power and knowing advanced techniques and applications right out of beauty school will be a great first impression to your future employers!

Financial Aid & Accreditation

Financial Aid is available to those who qualify and we encourage all prospective students and parents to contact the campus nearest to you to answer any questions you may have.
There are options available to assist prospects in making beauty school more affordable including PELL grants, Student Loans, Career Training Loans and cash payment plans. Our Career Counselors will be able to provide you with the most up-to-date information on the programs and options available in your area.
