About the School

The International Hair and Barber Academy has been around for more than 20 years in Montréal, Canada, known as École de Coiffure Internationale Unisexe. Montreal is acknowledged as one the of the foremost "FASHION CITIES" of the world. We are proud to announce our newest location on Beracasa Way, at the corner of Palmetto Park Road near Powerline Road in the beautiful city of Boca Raton, Florida.

At International Hair and Barber Academy, we understand that a career in Hair isn't just about passing the State Board exam. A huge part is based on Hands-on training and only with this kind of training will you be confident and ready for the real world. You will be excited and prepared to start a new career in this wonderful industry. 

Our Instructors

Someone who loves to help others and is dedicated, who can become like a parent or mentor to our students. To encourage them when things are tough and praise them when things are great. A teacher must remember what it is like to be a beginner.

Our instructors attend hair shows and seminars from all over the world so that they may teach our students the newest, latest trends of the trade.

Our Classes

As a private school with smaller class sizes, we can ensure that students don't get lost or left behind. Smaller schools can give their students the extra attention that larger schools can't offer.

We offer the practical, hands-on experience and professional business skills you need to succeed in the growing beauty industry. Learn basic to more advanced techniques, as well as the latest trends, incorporating techniques in haircutting, hair coloring and hair designing. Study the concepts of hair texture and how to create the ideal haircut or style based on the facial features of your clients.

Programs offered:

1. A Complete Cosmetology Course - 1,200 hrs., Day or Evening Classes Available
2. The Authentic Barbering Course- 1,200 hrs., Day or Evening Classes Available
3. The Challenge Course-(Cosmetology or Barbering Licence required) - A complete refresher course at a faster pace.
4. Full Advanced Color Class- Approx. 150 hours (Cosmetology or Barber Licence required) (Recieve Color Certificate)
