Cosmetology

In our Cosmetology program, students learn how to provide a variety of services to clients, including:

• Hairstyling, cutting and shampooing
• Manicures and pedicures
• Thermal curling and waving
• Skin care
• Makeup application

After thoroughly understanding these techniques and procedures through hands-on instruction and application in a class with one-on-one attention from their instructors, students are prepared to sit for the state board exam and begin an entry-level career at a salon, spa, cruise ship and more!

Skin Esthetics

In Jolie Hair and Beauty Academy's Skin Esthetics program, students learn the theory and practical experience necessary to provide quality service to future clients. Through practical demonstrations, lectures, workshops and evaluations, students study state cosmetology and hairstyling laws, the structure and functions of skin, the chemistry related to skin care, facial and body procedures, makeup and post-surgical corrective makeup techniques, and more! Upon completion of this program, students are prepared to pass the state board exam and work in a salon as a skin esthetician.

Teacher's Course

For practicing cosmetologists interested in passing their knowledge to others, Jolie Hair and Beauty Academy's Teacher's Course can help enhance your professional job opportunities. Students learn how to prepare coursework, deliver lessons, supervise students, develop teaching skills and a portfolio, and test and evaluate student progress. Successful graduates are equipped to share their passion for cosmetology with others!

Our students are also trained in our student clinic, where they provide common salon services to clients under instructor supervision. In addition, Jolie Hair and Beauty Academy offers career placement services and financial aid options to those who qualify!
