Kenneth Shuler's School of Cosmetology has
been offering quality education in the field
of Cosmetology for over 37 years.
The cosmetology industry is an exciting,
adventurous and creative field full of color,
fashion, and diversity. The instructors
at Kenneth Shuler's School of Cosmetology
pride themselves in helping students acquire
the knowledge and necessary skills to enter
the fields of hair design and skin care.
The opportunities in the field of cosmetology
are limitless. Depending upon the individual's
skills, self-confidence, attitude, knowledge
and creativity, licensed cosmetologists
can utilize their new skills in a variety
of settings.
Programs Offered
Cosmetology Program
The cosmetology industry is an exciting,
adventurous and creative field full of color,
fashion, and diversity. The instructors
in Kenneth Shuler's School of Cosmetology
program pride themselves in helping students
acquire the knowledge and necessary skills
to enter the field of hair design, nail
technology and facial technology.
Our instructors are skilled and experienced.
You will learn by doing under their personal
guidance; hands-on training has long been
the most effective means of teaching cosmetology
skills. With a solid education behind you,
a successful future can be yours!
Esthetics Program
The Esthetics program offers the latest
techniques and instruction in business practices,
facial massage, electrical facial treatments,
hair removal, make-up, and body wraps. This
course is designed to give the students
the information that they will need to become
licensed professionals in the field of esthetics.
The pathway to success begins in the classroom.
Students will be using Milady's Standard
Comprehensive Training for Estheticians
for their theory class. This textbook provides
students with in-depth information needed
to be successful in skin care. Students
will also train on mannequins prior to practicing
on the clinic floor. Our clinic floor will
give the student the best possible practical
experience to help ensure a smooth transition
into an entry-level position within the
workforce.

Goals and Objectives
The goals at Kenneth Shuler's School of
Cosmetology are to educate cosmetologists
with all of the skills and training necessary
to enter the field of cosmetology. We have
also set a goal in training student instructors
to become highly skilled professionals to
teach cosmetology or its related fields.
Upon acceptance of our students, we take
the responsibility to help them be the best
that they can be. Our goals is for all of
our students to pass the State Board Examination,
to become professional licensed cosmetologists
and instructors, and to create a positive
difference in our profession.
Our Mission
Our mission is to educate the best cosmetologists,
estheticians, and instructors in South Carolina,
who will, with enthusiasm and inspiration,
become the new leaders in our industry.

Licensing, and Affiliations
Kenneth Shuler's School of Cosmetology is
provisionally accredited by the National
Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts
and Sciences (NACCAS).
All of our instructors are Cosmetology Educators
of America (CEA) members. The schools are
members of and/or are approved by the following:
