school in the world, our curricula are supplemented
by our own Life Skills program - an innovative
program focused on personal and professional
growth. And the higher standards (95% attendance
and 80% minimum GPA) we set for our students
ensures a commitment to learn, grow and

Curriculum
Kohler Academy offers comprehensive programs
for hair stylists and skin care therapists,
with hands-on experience from the beginning.
Cosmetology
Students in the Cosmetology Program study
a basic foundation of courses in anatomy,
cutting, hair sculpting, shampooing, grooming,
sanitation, and hygiene. As an exclusive
Pivot Point Member School and the only Bumble
and bumble University Partner School in
the world, you will receive technical training
that is unparalleled in the industry.
Advanced courses cover the methods and products
involved in changing hair texture and color,
skin care, nail care, and makeup application.
 Skin
Care
As a Dermalogica Partnership Plus School,
Kohler Academy's Skin Care Program utilizes
theory and clinical practice to provide
students what they need to succeed as skin
care therapists. From scientific concepts
about cells, metabolism, bacteriology, and
human anatomy and physiology, to best practices
in mask therapies, hair removal and facial
treatments, Kohler Academy stresses the
basics as well as advanced education.
Kohler Life Skills
Kohler Academy's Life Skills program rounds
out your technical education with training
in a variety of topics designed to jumpstart
your career and help you thrive in the years
to come. Based on personal and professional
development goals and tools, this exciting
program is dynamic, current and always relevant.
Facility & Student Services
Kohler Academy's facility mirrors the modern,
contemporary style found in high-end salons
and spas. The academy's energetic, dynamic

and grow. Additionally, various services
are available to enrolled students and graduates,
including career counseling, job placement
assistance, professional coaching, and specialized
training opportunities.
Financial Planning
Financial assistance is available at Kohler
Academy through SLM Financial's Career Training
Loans. SLM Financial, a Sallie Mae company,
has been providing loan products for students
for nearly ten years. The Career Training
Loan is a private, credit-based loan with
flexible repayment options.
