Cosmetology
FACT: While most fields are reducing their workforce the cosmetology industry is in need of qualified individuals.

Q: What do you learn?
A: You will learn everything with hair - Hair Sculpture, Hair Design, Color and Texture, everything with Spa Services - Natural Nails, Nail Enhancements, Spa Facials and Body Treatments and finally the practical application through clinic and spa services to learn what it takes to succeed as a licensed professional.

FACT: Our program gives you the qualifications that meet what the beauty industry is in demand for while making learning fun!

Q: Do you want a degree?
A: Only at LJIC, can you earn an Associates Degree in Health and Beauty Management PLUS a cosmetology diploma all in about 1 year.

FACT: The National average income for a full time cosmetologist is $38,500!

Nail Technology
FACT: Join the working world in less than 4 months!

Q: What will I learn?
A: You will learn everything with nails - Natural nail care, nail enhancements - sculptured and acrylics, the different forms of pedicures basic to spa, reflexology, massaging of hand, arm, foot and leg, paraffin therapeutic waxing as well as arm and leg waxing.

Q: Do you want to be on a nail design team?
A: LJIC is the first cosmetology college to have a CND Elite Team. Benefit to our students is the extensive 1st hand knowledge and professional tools to work with.

Esthetics
FACT: Due to the high demand of esthetic services many salons have expanded into the day spa market & are in need of qualified individuals.

Q: What do you learn?
A: You will learn everything with skin & spa services - Skin Analysis with your own woods lamp, all different types of facial treatments right down to chemical peels, high frequency therapy, light therapy, color theory with skin and makeup tones with your professional Trucco kit, corrective makeup, all spa body treatments, all types of facial and body waxing, and finally the business/salon development to be successful.

FACT: LJIC is one of the only schools in the Midwest to train you in Microdermabrasion, the treatment that keeps the Hollywood stars looking their best!

Massage Therapy

FACT: Massage Therapy is the fastest growing part of the wellness industry.

Q: What do you learn?
A: You will learn everything with massage and spa services. Our program focus is on human anatomy and physiology applying the principles of Swedish massage to the full body and on-site chair massages. Unique to LJIC you will learn the hot stone therapy using your very own stone set, and finally the business/salon development skills to be successful.
