Courses Overview
At The Vision - A Paul Mitchell Partner School, we prepare our graduates to not only pass the state licensing examination, but to build personal confidence and become successful right from the start.

Our curriculum reaches out to all learning types with a focus on making the learning experience engaging, fun, and effective. Whether you're a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner, our environment is designed to draw out your creativity, making the learning process a series of exciting discoveries. All courses include extensive instruction and practical experience.

Esthetics (Cosmetician) Program Overview
The Skin Academy Department offers the state-required program for becoming a licensed skin therapist. Classes are held in a state-of-the-art facility that allows you to perfect your skills in realistic surroundings on real people. The Skin Academy Department's advanced training system focuses on personalized attention. This unique program brings a new depth of understanding and knowledge of classical professional techniques, such as international skin treatments, speed waxing, customized treatment protocols, skin analysis, ingredient technology, makeup techniques, and prescriptive retailing.

Cosmetology Program Overview
The Cosmetology Program features design, cutting, coloring, multicultural techniques, makeup, fashion trends, and the art of hairdressing. The Cosmetology Program features a three-phase program we call CORE, ADAPTIVE, and CREATIVE. In CORE, you'll learn the basics that will let you confidently begin working with guests. ADAPTIVE builds on the first phase and adds time management, professional service and retailing skills, and the art of successful communication. The final phase, CREATIVE, takes you through advanced hairdressing and chemical work.

Learning Leader (Instructor) Training Program Overview
Our Learning Leader Training Program provides qualified, licensed cosmetologists who are interested in becoming Learning Leaders with the attitude, retail knowledge, and professional values that will help them inspire our Future Professionals. Admission into the Learning Leader Training Program requires the following: You must be at least 17 years of age; you must possess a current Pennsylvania State Cosmetologist/Hairstylist license; and you must have a high school diploma or GED.

Nail Arts Program Overview
The Nail Academy department focuses on helping you master skills, science, and creativity in the nail enhancement industry. As a new professional nail artist and future businessperson, you'll face the ongoing challenges of keeping up on the trends, science, and products for consumers' demands. It's a complex balancing act - one that directly relates to your bottom line. To help you learn, practice, and deliver the latest in nail enhancement advances, the Nail Academy Department offers programs that feature state-of-the-art curriculum, reflecting on the science of hand and foot beauty.

Enrollment Information
Requirements
To enroll in the Cosmetology Program, Skin Academy Department, or Nail Academy Department at The Vision - A Paul Mitchell Partner School, you must be at least l6 years of age and be a high school graduate with a diploma, or have a GED certificate. A limited number of secondary students will be accepted, subject to passing a pre-enrollment Ability to Benefit exam.

Foreign Students
The Vision often receives inquiries from foreign students. If you are not a resident of the United States and are interested in attending the school, contact our Admissions Department to request special Foreign Student Information.

At The Vision - A Paul Mitchell Partner School, we are committed to assisting all of our students in meeting their educational costs. Financial assistance programs are available to those who qualify. Our Financial Aid department can provide you with the necessary applications and assess the financial assistance programs for which you may qualify.
