My experience at mason Anthony was absolutely atrocious. First off, the reviews are above 4 stars on google due to the STUDENTS hard work. After every client they ask them to go leave a good review to “help the students get job placement” when in reality it’s only benefitting them. If you look at all the reviews left by students they’re awful. My class went through 6 different teachers throughout a 4 month span. One of my teachers didn’t even know the steps to a basic facial. I was moved down to the demo room and was given one single demonstration throughout my time of being a student. My biggest issue is with management. The operations is so unprofessional. Multiple girls were complaining of having headaches and we found tons of mold under the sink and reported it on a student solutions form and they responded by sending Meg (operations) to tell our class that it wasn’t mold it was wax. Which was a complete lie. Our class had to BEG for months for our marketing class (which was included in our tuition cost) which we finally got the last day half the class graduated. There was several times i couldn’t give my clients i brought in for the school proper care due to the school not having any products. They would run out of lash lift kits and moisturizer and would not replace them for days or even weeks. They changed the rules on us every single day and would threaten to send us home if we would argue back with how unfair they treated us students. You have to pay to practice on people (other students) and if my client wouldn’t show up they would force us to waste product instead of allowing us to practice on another student with those products that would of got dumped anyways. Not to mention there was so many bugs. My room would have 10 or 12 dried up worms in each corner. They had us on our hands and knees scrubbing the wax room several days in a row cleaning for hours and letting us inhale harsh chemicals. (Mind you this is exploitation of free labor) I got zero education here and basically taught myself everything i know. The day of my graduation operations came down and assigned me 3 tests all over 100 questions and said i wasn’t to graduate until i did the tests. I had no warning or explanation on how they could possibly assign three tests an hour before I was about to graduate. One of my teachers even went upstairs and threatened to quit if I was not allowed to graduate. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Mason Anthony and strongly advise you to receive your education somewhere else.

Emily Hahn gave me a facial. She was so thorough and explained the various products she was using on me . It was wonderful! She is a lovely, sweet person too! I will be back for another facial with Emily for sure, I highly recommend her.
