Objective The Massage Therapy program provides training
for an entry-level career as a professional
massage therapist. Students obtain the
knowledge necessary to develop massage protocol
and perform an extensive therapeutic massage
with focus on whole body wellness.
Graduates are prepared for employment opportunities
in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, medical
offices, spas, health clubs, and private
practice and are eligible to sit for the
National Certification Examination for Therapeutic
Massage and Bodywork. Graduates may pursue
career opportunities in the growing healthcare
industry in doctors’ offices, medical clinics,
and other medical facilities as medical
office support personnel, medical clinical
assistants, and laboratory assistants.
