Cosmetology
Are you interested in a career in beauty? Do you enjoy giving makeovers and helping your friends improve their style? A career in Cosmetology may be perfect for you! Cosmetologists are responsible for helping others improve their style and feel better about the way they look on a daily basis.

Skilled Cosmetologists are in high demand. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, Cosmetology jobs are expected to grow by 20% through 2018.*

Meridian offers Cosmetology training in Florida that prepares you to deliver high-quality beauty and hair services to both men and women. Our hands-on Cosmetology training gives you the skills you need to start an exciting career and become a leader in the beauty industry.

Your Cosmetology training will include:

• Perfecting men's and women's haircutting
• Styling, perm application, coloring and bleaching
• Applying facials
• Chemical waving
• Applying scalp treatments and proper shampooing techniques
• Manicure and pedicure techniques
  

Upon graduation and state licensure, you will be qualified for a position as an entry level Cosmetologist and be prepared to start a career in a full-service cosmetology salon. Your training will prepare you to perform some of today's most popular cosmetic services!

Financial Assistance
Meridian College is a recognized participant in programs of student financial assistance supported by the U.S. Department of Education. The objective of these programs is to provide funds for students who wouldn't otherwise be able to continue with their education.
