Metroplex Beauty School invites you to join
us and experience a comprehensive, exciting
and dynamic education. Nationally accredited,
State approved, and locally owned and operated
for over 27 years by Billie and Jim Culver,
Metroplex Beauty School is located five
miles from Town East Mall in the Old Mesquite
area. As a leader in training both male
and female cosmetologists, thousands of
students have graduated from this location
since 1980 and have gone on to successful
and exciting careers. We place emphasis
on how to be successful in the salon, in
the community, and how to create the lifestyle
that you desire.
Mission Statement
The main objective of the school is to provide
the highest quality education possible for
our students by teaching a solid foundation
in the art of Cosmetology, enabling them
to take advantage of the many exciting and
unlimited opportunities in the Cosmetology
profession. We remain committed to our students,
alumni, and community by constantly striving
to be the best.
Programs Offered
Cosmetology
Course
Cosmetology is an exciting, fast-paced career
that is constantly evolving with new ideas,
techniques and equipment. Cosmetologists
work with a variety of people each day,
assisting them with their beauty needs.
Our comprehensive cosmetology course includes
technical instruction and practical operations
covering all areas of Hair cutting and styling,
Skin treatments and Nail care.
Manicurist Course
One of the largest areas of growth in the
beauty industry is nail care. Properly trained
and licensed manicurists are in demand.
Our Nail program offers the student both
the theory and practical skills necessary
to meet the state licensing requirements.
Students will learn about and be able to
perform manicures, pedicures, acrylics,
gels, tips, polish, art and more.
Instructor Course
The cosmetology industry is in need of highly-trained,
qualified teachers. As a licensed Cosmetologist
you can enroll in the Instructor Program.
This program consists of coordinated theory
and practical experiences. You will learn
many different teaching methods in both
curriculum and practical demonstrations.
Student Financial
Assistance
Our financial assistance program makes it
possible for students to continue their
education by distributing funds according
to financial need. In addition to the federal
programs offered below, Metroplex Beauty
School offers a limited number of tuition
waiver scholarships to students who show
a high level of artistic promise and aptitude
for work in the field of cosmetology. Information
concerning financial assistance may be obtained
by contacting the schools Financial Aid
officer. The school offers financial aid
to those who qualify.

Placement
Metroplex Beauty School offers employment assistance for all graduates. As long
as the graduate is in the beauty profession, the school will assist him/her
in obtaining employment if the student either calls or visits the office.
