Welcome
Missouri College of Cosmetology is committed
to instilling in our students the basic
knowledge of cosmetology arts and sciences
and creating pride for the field, therefore
being an integral part of furthering the
advancement of the field of cosmetology
arts and sciences.
South Campus
Missouri College of Cosmetology South is
located at 3636 S. Campbell, in the Kickapoo
Corners Shopping Center, and is 5,500 square
feet in size, with excellent facilities
available, large clinic and reception areas,
with such teaching aids as video tape systems,
large reference materials collection, two
large classrooms, individual facial booths,
ample office space, and student lounge.
Ample parking is available for both students
and clinic patrons.
Courses
Cosmetology with
Manicuring Course
This program of training requires approximately
9 months at full time. The Comsetology course
will be covered in both theoretical and
practical training.
Esthetics
This program of training requires approximately
30 weeks or approximately 7.5 months for
part time attendance. The Esthetics course
will be covered in both theory and practical
training, available at Missouri College
of Cosmetology South, only. The Esthetics
Course will prepare the student for employment
as an esthetician.
START DATES
New classes begin at regular intervals throughout
the year. Students should contact the Enrollment
Office for the current schedule of new class
starting date.
Enrollment
and Financial Aid
Prospective students should contact our
Enrollment Office to arrange for a personal
interview and tour of the facilities, if
desired, well in advance to the anticipated
starting date. A prospective student may
enroll for any class starting date, but
must be enrolled no later than two weeks
prior to the anticipated starting date.
Financial Aid available for those who qualify.
Placement Assistance
The School does not, by law, guarantee job
placement. The staff and faculty does make
every effort to assist graduates of the
school in securing employment in the field.
This assistance is provided in the form
of a Unit of Instruction relating to Job
Search, as well as assistance to the individual
student in coordinating job interviews in
response to incoming requests from salon
and business owners in the surrounding area.
