It is the objective and goal of Marinello Schools of Beauty to
provide educational and vocational training to its students, so that
upon graduation the student is capable of passing the state licensing
exam.
Marinello schools are carefully designed to assimilate a salon
environment for the sole purpose of beauty education; equipped with the
most modern of visual and teaching aids, possessing the type of
professional beauty equipment in keeping with the top salons in America.
Education at Marinello is centered around the student learning
through practical operations on a repetitive basis. This provides a
great learning atmosphere where you learn by experience.
Programs of Study
Marinello has been training people in the field of cosmetology for
almost 100 years. The beauty industry has come to expect a high
standard of proficiency and excellence in the skills and
professionalism of Marinello graduates. This is because Marinello's
curriculum is well developed and planned, and Marinello conducts its
training in an assimilated salon atmosphere where students learn by
practice. Our entire educational system, including our expectations
from our students, are well designed to provide you quality training in
a safe environment to prepare for a rewarding career.
Although the enrollee is a student and not an employee, the student
will be trained by performing work in a salon simulated school
environment designed to teach industry skills while providing industry
knowledge and educational credit.
COSMETOLOGY
The curriculum for students enrolled in the
cosmetology program offers theory practical training and technical
instruction covering all practices of cosmetology.
ESTHETICIAN
The curriculum for students enrolled in an
esthetician program includes theory practical training and technical
instruction covering all practices of skin care.
MANICURING
The curriculum for students enrolled in
manicuring only offers theory practical training and technical
instruction covering all practice of manicuring.
ADVANCED FACE & BODY TREATMENTS
The
curriculum for students enrolled in the Advanced Body Treatments
includes the use of wraps, scrubs, masques and manual circulatory,
lymphatic and superficial Myofascial techniques.
MASSAGE THERAPY
The curriculum for students enrolled in
the massage therapy program includes a combination of theory lectures,
demonstration and practical application in the most recognized massage
techniques including Swedish massage, Advanced Circulatory Massage,
Sports Massage, Facilitated Stretching, Special Needs and Acupressure.
MASTER SPA THERAPIST
The curriculum for students enrolled
in the Master Spa Therapist program includes practical and technical
instructions covering advanced equipment, assessment techniques and
product protocols for acne, Rosacea, Hyperpigmentation and anti-aging.
HAIR DESIGNING
The
curriculum for students enrolled in hair designing offers advanced
techniques in haircutting and styling including updos, highlights,
color treatments and more.
INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
The curriculum for instructor training
includes theory practical training and technical instruction covering
all practices of cosmetology.
