Our School

Our Karl Road school is located in North Columbus near the intersection of Karl and Morse Roads. The program at this school is dedicated to black hair, skin, and nail studies - one of the first and only schools in Ohio to be Africentric. Heat waving, marcelling, chemical reformation, hair braiding and hair extensions are just a few of the extras taught. Our busy clinic ensures plenty of Africentric practice on actual clients.

Your Training

A managing cosmetology license will allow you to be a hair, skin and nail care professional. Not only will you learn up-to-the-minute hair styling and cutting techniques, you will also receive extensive training in skin and nail care. Our renovated spa area allows you to provide spa manicures and pedicures, waxing services, specialized facials and full body pampering services in a serene and beautiful environment. Just like upscale salons, we use luxurious products such as 100% African Shea Butter, to soothe and nourish even the most distressed skin. The unique skills that you will acquire will allow you to be extremely competitive in the beauty industry!

Our long history and excellent reputation have allowed us to become professional partners with hundreds of salons throughout Ohio which can lead to opportunities for interning, mentoring and job placement. Our annual job fair is a popular recruiting opportunity for dozens of savvy salon owners looking for fresh talent!
