Cosmetology Program Overview
The Cosmetology Program features extensive hands-on and classroom training in the chemistry of hair, hair design, cutting, coloring, makeup, manicuring/pedicuring, international techniques and fashion trends. We also mentor future professionals in attitude, retailing, personal appearance, and business essentials. Our future professionals have the opportunity to complete a photo shoot project where they create their personal portfolios and put on a debut hair show - all while they're still in school. We'll prepare you for the State Board examination, and much, much more.

Skin Care Program Overview
The Skin Academy Department offers the state-required program for becoming a licensed skin therapist/esthetician with real world practical experience through our skin care clinic. We use a state-of-the-art educational system developed with The International Dermal Institute, an international leader in skin care education and products. This unique program focuses on personalized attention and brings a new depth of understanding and knowledge of classical professional techniques, such as international skin treatments, speed waxing, customized treatment protocols, skin analysis, ingredient technology, makeup techniques, and prescriptive retailing. When you graduate from our Skin Academy, you will be ready to take on a wide variety of skin care careers.

Requirements
To enroll in the Cosmetology Program or Skin Academy at Paul Mitchell the School Esani, you must be at least l7 years of age and be a high school graduate with a diploma, or have a GED certificate.
